CAAW is actively involved in organizing, sponsoring, and promoting annual events throughout the year. Among our very successful events, our list include the Annual Fund Raising Party, the Long Beach Dragon Boat Tournament, the August Moon Festival, as well as workshops and seminars that cover topics of interest to the community, such as health and finances, and Holiday events.

The Annual Fund Raising Party brings the community together during an evening of entertainment, food, and friends. This event helps with our efforts of raising funds which enable CAAW to continue providing cultural activities, scholarships, and seminars.
The Long Beach Dragon Boat Tournament is a terrific venue for our members to join in friendly competitions and display skills in the art of rowing in unison to race to the end. All these while enjoying two days of camaraderie, food, sun and fun.
The Annual August Moon Festival covers the festivities of the 15th day of August in the lunar calendar. The program is filled with traditional dance performances, singing, showcase of traditional Chinese costumes, and of course the staple "moon cake" which is the traditional pastry in celebrating the beauty of the full moon.
CAAW is also committed to bringing issues of interest to its community. Seminars on important health issues, finance matters, and issues that impact the environment are some of the topics covered during these seminars.
